Samsung Galaxy S7 Review: Price, Specs, Pros and Cons

Samsung still dominating with 21% worldwide Smartphone market share; its Flagship phone for 2016 Samsung Galaxy S7 has been launched with some permuted features such as Android Marshmallow OS, Snapdragon 820/ Exynos 8890, 5.1 inches super AMOLED display, 12 and 5 MP camera, 64 GB ROM with support of 200 GB microSD card and 3000 mAh battery. Here we will have Short review, Pros and Cons of Samsung Galaxy S7.

Design and LooksHandset might look identical to the Galaxy S6 with rounder design using a proprietary process called 3D Thermoforming with melded 3D glass to curve with such precision that it meets the curved metal alloy to create an exquisitely seamless and strong uni-body. This mind blowing craftsmanship is also responsible for making its design dust and water resistance. The 3.5mm jack, USB port and speaker grille located in bottom, the card slot tray is fixed on the top, left edge has volume rockers and right edge has power key.

The display of the phone is really awesome with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolutions. Before launching rumours said it will have 4K display like Sony Xperia Z5 Premium but Samsung manage to have a great deal with 2K. The 5.1 inches IPS AMOLED display having 577 ppi display density is vibrant and crystal clear. Some people complaining that the AMOLED display is too bright and can be problematic to the eyes so Samsung provided a tool to manage the brightness of AMOLED screen. The Glass used for the protection of phone is Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

Camera Quality

Samsung downgraded its camera standard on the basis of Megapixel unit but upgraded on the basis of quality and usability. They improved its camera aperture, µm pixel size etc. The Dual Pixel Sensor has two photodiodes used for phase detection helps in very quick sharp focus and more accurate colour production even in low light condition. The primary camera can record 4K videos with 30fps 1080p @ 60 fps and 720p @240 fps. 5 MP front camera also has same aperture helps in capture most delightful photos for selfies with wide viewing angles.

Performance of Device
The Galaxy S7 has two variants of CPU, USA and China get Snapdragon 820 and rest of world get Exynos 8890. The Galaxy S6 was smooth multitasking device and Samsung promises that Galaxy S7 has  Up to 30% faster CPU than its predecessor. In the test Exynos 8890 is great performer even for heavy games and preventing device from heating.
Battery Backup
The battery is quite powerful with 3000 mAh battery there is pre-loaded Doze mode in marshmallow for preventing unwanted wastage of power. Handset supports wireless charging and Quick charge 3.0 which fully charge mobile in 90 minutes.
