OnePlus 3 Review: Price Specs Pros and Cons

OnePlus is admired by people for imparting best Flagship features in less than half price of flagship Smartphone of tier 1 brands. 2016 is third year when they are launching a great spectacular Smartphone with fascinating features such as  OxygenOS 3.1.1 based on  v6.0.1 (Marshmallow), World class Snapdragon 820, 5.5 inches Super AMOLED super AMOLED display, 16 MP rear,  8 MP front camera,  64 GB ROM without the support of external storage, a Huge 6 GB RAM and 3000 mAh battery.

Design and Looks
This time 3rd Generation of One plus shifted plastic body to metallic Aluminium-unibody, the metallic finish with renovated design is distinctive. However the plain metallic body feels quite slippery in hand. Company tried to keep minimum bezels from the side but there is quite large area above and below the display which also should be minimized.  The antenna line with rear camera improving the aesthetic value of phone, below the screen there is capacitive home key with a fingerprint sensor built in, works very well that; unlocks the phone even in standby mode without first needing to wake the device.  Power button is fixed on the right side while volume rockers are on left, The bottom houses 3.5 mm audio jack, USB Type-C port cable port and speaker grille.

Display Quality
As we can see most of the flagship phone shifted to quad-HD or 4K resolution but OnePlus3 choose to stick with Full HD (1080p) display although it is not affected the quality of pictures running in the screen; all the viewable content in phone looks crisp and vibrant as display is Super AMOLED. It would be better if they opt 4K for such a flagship phone but why we should make unnecessary load over the battery when there is nothing wrong with 1080p resolution. Display also has scratch resistant coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
Camera and Selfie
Most of Smartphone nowadays perform well in sufficient lightening but the real test of camera is over low light or in some tough conditions. 16MP camera of OnePlus 3 is equipped with Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) and PDAF perform well in daylight conditions,  With 2.0 aperture we are expecting good photographs in night although camera struggle to sense natural colours and low light photos become Grainy. This is not that bad but after comparing performance of Samsung Galaxy S7 in night OnePlus 3 phone not able to match the picture quality. Primary camera also capable to shoot 4K videos and 120fps with 720p resolution. 8 MP secondary camera is quite well to take selfies with satisfactory picture quality.

Performance of Phone
When it comes to performance OnePlus tried to provide best experience of latest world class chipset from Qualcomm. Phone is backed by the Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 Quad-core processor. Graphic intensive games are running butter smooth in handset and credit goes to Snapdragon 820 and a huge 6GB RAM too. For the gamers it is really one of best phone where you can play any android stuff. It is also good to see the heating management as phone doesn’t heat even after throwing lots of stuff in the handset.

Battery Backup
OnePlus 3 has 3000 mAh battery which is quite sufficient for giving the backup of one full day, as on the basis of data estimate it gives 3.5-4 hours SOT (Screen on Time in full brightness) and 16 hours in video loop test. And according to official website it has DASH charging feature which can charge Smartphone 60% from 0% in half an hour.

Why to buy and Final words about OnePlus 3

This time OnePlus throw out the invite system and launched this handset for open sell in Amazon. Specifications of handset really stand in the line of flagship killer. The built quality looks premium and makes you different in crowd. As according to Performance it is being the only one of its kind with super chipset and 6GB of huge RAM, being a gamer you can definitely choose this handset, thing that disappointed us a little is its camera, although it is above average type but not able to perform as according to our expectations. For the best class camera Samsung Galaxy S7 is on our top list. OnePlus 3 already have competitors in market like Xiaomi Mi 5 and Huawei Nexus 6P.
