Huawei P9 Review: Price Specs Pros and Cons

After launching of Huawei Nexus 6P; a phone of Google Nexus series; Huawei gained perception of Tier 1 brand, although they were manufacturing great quality Smartphone from years.  Currently Their Flagship phone of year 2016 Huawei P9 launched with significant features like v6.0 (Marshmallow) OS, 2.5 GHz HiSilicon Kirin 955 processor, 5.2 inches IPS-NEO LCD, 12 rear & 8 MP front camera,  32/64 GB ROM, 3/4 GB RAM, 128 GB SD card support and 3000 mAh battery.

Built Quality and Design
I am surprised to see the way Smartphone is carved by engineers, made a stunning finish and praiseworthy design. The body is well built with metal (Aluminum) and a perfect size of 5.2 inches fitted in hands.  Design of phone is really appreciable which makes it unique. Power button and Volume rockers are placed on the Right however left edge houses SIM/SD Card tray, and bottom houses Speaker Grille, Type-C 1.0 USB cable Slot and 3.5mm Earphone jack.

Display Experience
Most of the Flagship phones are running to have maximum possible resolutions like 4K or QHD but here Huawei decided to stick with FHD (1080x1980p) resolutions.  This doesn’t mean that it has poor graphical emission; the display is quite vibrant balancing saturation and brightness. The colours on graphic looks in display are true to life. Huawei made it sure having minimum possible bezel area around the display which makes 72.9% screen-body ratio. Unfortunately phone lacks any kind of special protection e.g. Corning Gorilla Glass.
Performance of the Gadget Most of the Flagship Android phones of 2016 are using Snapdragon 820, but here Huawei is making his own way by using HiSilicon Kirin 955 that is also manufactured by the Huawei, Which is directly in face to face competition with Snapdragon 820, The Huawei P9 is showing great results for Gaming as well as multitasking because it has Octa-core 2.5 GHz Cortex-A72 processor.  The one thing to notice is that the Mali-T880 MP4 (GPU of Huawei P9) is not able to perform well as Adreno 530 in Snapdragon 820 for Graphic intensive tasks.

Photography and Videos
The P9 is highlighted in media for the Camera as this time they have collaborated with Leica which is making Camera stuff for SLR/DSLR. Phone has Dual 12 MP camera with dual-LED (dual tone) flash sadly Huawei kicked out OIS from the camera, Still camera manage to take photos with minimum possible instability. Daylight photos from the handset are quite pleasing and dim light photos are also quite good in phone screen but when we zoom the picture it looks noisy and looses the details although it is case with most the phone. Rear camera is also able to take slow-mo videos with 120fps. Front has 8MP camera, whenever you need to take some cool selfie you can use it which is not going to disappoint you.

Battery Backup
Huawei also stopped at 3000 mAh battery, while we are expecting more. The most of flagship phones are packed with 3000mAh, and they are tending to give SOT (Screen on time) of 3.5- 4.0 hours. This phone can easily stand its battery backup for one full day.

Why to buy and Final words about Huawei P9

The Huawei released very pleasant handset, offering Leica technology for the camera to provide quality photographs. Phone has carved with eye-catching design also has ease to hold and regulation with single hand.  Kirin 955 inside the phone is capable to deliver smoother user experience. The UI of phone is not that attractive but it is android bro, you can easily customise your setting. It is competing neck to neck with big boys of Smartphone world like Samsung Galaxy S7, hTC 10 and LG G5 by offering this product in more than $100 lesser price.
