Oppo is one of the fastest growing smartphone company and “F” series is popular series for offering great specs (especially for selfie camera) under the decent budget range. The previous Oppo F1 handset was lacking some specifications which are fulfilled in Oppo F1s, the current phone has 5.5 inches IPS display, Android v5.1 (Lollipop) up-gradable to 6.1 Marshmallow, MediaTek 1.5 GHz processor, 13 MP rear and 16 MP front camera, 32 GB ROM | 128 GB External Card support and 3075 mAh battery.
Design Craftsmanship
Oppo decided to retain the design, phone looks like clone of Oppo F1 Plus; It also has Full metallic body and a Gold rim around it, which is definitely increasing its aesthetic value. Left corner has volume rockers which are easily distinguishable and left houses Power button and Memory + SIM card slot. Bottom has speaker grille, USB cable slot and 3.5 mm audio jack.
It is true that Oppo is using IPS display for this phone and still it manages to give vibrant impression like AMOLED, in the story of display we are not feeling good about the fact that it doesn't have Full HD (1080p) resolutions. The display density is also not so impressive (267 ppi ) for a mid range smartphone. However the images, videos and texts are clearly visible even in outdoor condition.
Camera Quality-
All the “F” series from Oppo are camera-centric especially for selfies, so obviously camera is better relative to other phones in same price group. It is pleasure to see the pretty well photographs from 16 MP camera even in indoor or low lit conditions. The 13 MP rear camera ( f/2.2)also has decent quality but the performance is not good as 16 MP (f/2.0) front camera.
Company loaded this smartphone with MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor, the performance of phone with this chipset is quite smooth even in multitasking, but phone can’t afford heavy load of app. We are expecting some better chipset for this mid-range smartphone but Oppo decided to go with entry level MediaTek chipset.
Battery Capacity-
There is 3075 mAh battery inside the phone, which has an impressive battery backup with nearly 4:30 hours Screen on Time (SOT) but what felt problematic is fast charging feature Missing (VOOC charging technology)

What do you mean by pre-loaded OS lollipop which is now an older version? Did the f1s still upgradable to marshmallow? Sorry for my bad grammar.
