Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime Review Pros and Cons

Finally with launch of Galaxy J7 Prime, Samsung released some long awaited features like Metallic body, Full HD display and Fingerprint sensor; these all the features were not available in previous models released under “J” series. We loved this piece of gadget for all the new edition they have made. It is loaded with features like v6.0.1 (Marshmallow) OS, Exynos 1.6 GHz Octa-core processor, 13 MP rear | 8 MP front camera, 3 GB RAM | 16 GB Internal storage | 256 GB SD card support and 3300 mAh battery.

Let's Talk about Design
Although Samsung retained the typical Galaxy design in J7 Prime, the metallic uni-body construction feels sturdy and compact in hands. The slight round in the corners of the phone made it quite comfortable in hands even after having such a large size. In this handset Samsung Shifts the location of the Speaker to the right corner along with power button. There are SIM and SD card slots are fixed towards the right edge of phone. Bottom of the phone including USB Cable slot and 3.5 mm audio jack.

sAMOLED: A Great Visual Experience
Now we have Full HD display phone under “J” series, Samsung is the brands intensively using Super AMOLED display even in its Entry level Phones but now in J7 Prime they have ditched the sAMOLED display and embraced the IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. The display is enough bright and well maintaining the aspects of saturation and colour although it is not so impressive in sunlight. We are still missing the clarity of AMOLED display. It is also configuring 401 ppi of display density and very narrow bezels with 73.5% screen-to-body ratio. There is no need to worry about the scratches as it is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
Smooth Performance
Nowadays we have noticed that instead of using Snapdragon or MediaTek Samsung is launching handset with its own Exynos chipset. This handset has Exynos 7870 Octa-core 1.6 GHz processor, A user will never feel any hiccups while using the phone and switching between the apps but when it comes to heavy graphic intensive gaming it is act like mid range phone and start lagging although you can play the games in medium or low graphical setting.

Camera Quality
There is 13 MP Primary camera in the phone with 8 MP front camera, It looks same like its predecessor Galaxy J7 2016. Most of the outdoor photos captured from the camera looks pretty well. Some sample photos in low-light looks decent enough and some has noise problem due to the insufficiency of the light. Previous model Galaxy J7 2016 had flash for the front camera but in this phone Samsung decided to kick out flashlight for front camera.
This time phone has 10% more battery capacity than last model,

Battery Capacity
There is 3300 mAh battery inside the phone which can easily stand for more than 24 hours, as according to official Samsung website phone can provide 21 hours of talktime with 3G network.

Why to buy and Final words about Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime

In the J7 Prime Samsung upgraded a lots of things from last Galaxy J7 2016, but still they are missing a lots of features which they can easily provide in this handset. Although phone is beautifully designed and facilitating the 3 GB RAM and Fingerprint sensor, Here we are disappointed with the decision of going with TFT display instead of Super AMOLED, They also hurt their fans by removing flashlight from front camera. You can say that it is re-incarnation of the Galaxy J7 2016 with some addition and subtraction of features.
