Oppo F3 Review Pros and Cons

Review of Oppo F3 at a Glance:-

As we are looking at marketing strategy of different brands it feels like few Chinese brands only concentrating on one aspect of smartphone that is "Selfie". In this harsh marketing competition, another selfie smartphone Oppo F3 launched with keys specs like 5.5 inches display, Android v6.0 (Marshmallow) OS, 5.5 inches FHD Display, 13 Primary | 16 MP Secondary camera, 64 GB ROM | 256 GB SD Card support, 4 GB RAM and 3200 mAh battery.

Cool Design
The phone has metallic iPhone style built where the edge are gently curved that enhances the craftsmanship and also making the phone easy to hold, with the Thickness of 7.3mm and 153 gram weight handset is quite compact to carry. the front has 2.5D curved glass. the phone looks like the younger sibling of Oppo F3 Plus. Volume buttons are located on the left edge, the power button is placed on the right along with the card tray slot, while the 3.5mm audio jack and microUSB port are at the bottom.
Full HD Vivid Display
The 5.5 inches Full HD display that definitely looks crisper and vibrant for the videos or pictures running over this. With the 401 ppi pixel Density, pixels while watching any content are nearly unnoticeable. This IPS LCD display also has decent viewing angles and it also has quite good sunlight legibility so you will hardly face any problem while operating phone in bright outdoor conditions. There is very rare chance for display getting unwanted scratches as it has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Expert in Selfie
We don't understand a point that while brands like this are advertising the phone for the camera more specifically front camera but why they are ignoring the primary shooter which is used for taking most of the crucial photos. Its 13MP primary camera takes just average photos in proper lit conditions while under insufficient lightening condition photos are suffering from noise. The company doesn't provide OIS for camera but there is Anti-shake 2.0 features that help for stabilization. when it comes to the secondary camera it is not disappointing as the rear camera, a combination of 16-megapixel camera with an 8-megapixel sensor having 120-degree wide-angle view makes it more suitable for the group selfies. The other features that can be useful are Bokeh artistic effect and beautify 4.0
Entry Level CPU in Mid-range Smartphone
I don't know why even after raising the price of smartphone close or more than Tier 1 brands Oppo failed to provide a decent CPU inside this handset. This selfie expert smartphone comes up with an entry level MediaTek MT6750T processor based on 28nm technology. For the normal day to day task this chipset performing quite well as it is also coupled with 4 GB RAM. But the overall performance is not worth of your money, for example, Redmi Note 4 selling in the price of 11999 INR and also have a powerful Snapdragon 625 Octa-core CPU clocking at 2.0 GHz while Oppo F3 has a weak MediaTek processor still selling at 19999 INR means 8000 Rupees higher price. Although if you are not more in heavy gaming then this CPU is enough for most of the tasks.

Decent battery
Oppo offering a 3200 mAh non user-removable battery inside the handset as the source of power, this is just another battery with an average backup which can sustain the smartphone for one full day if used moderately.

Why to buy and Final words about Oppo F3

Oppo, Vivo, and Gionee are extensively promoting their models for the selfie but compromising other smartphone features. this handset is also an example of extensive promotion. Oppo is a brand which has trend of ripping off the iPhone design with some modification, this phone is also looking quite premium while holding in hand. The display is sharp and clean to watch any type of content, Primary camera can be categorized under average however Dual selfie camera is quite good to take selfies. Performance by MediaTek 1.5 GHz octa-core processor with 4 GB RAM is mediocre. the battery is also able to offer an average backup. You should go for this device if you are also a selfie enthusiast, While under 20K you also have pretty decent alternate options like Moto G5 Plus, Lenovo P2 and Gionee A1.
