Sony Xperia XZ Premium Review Pros & Cons: Amazing UltraSlow 960fps Cam

Review of Sony Xperia XZ Premium at a Glance:-

Innovation is new Definition of Success in Tech World, Sony introduces Xperia XZ Premium Smartphone for the High-end user with some features that we are watching first time in Any Mobile phone till date. Even after having amazing features there are many advantages and disadvantages associated with this handset. The key features of this awesome engineering piece are 5.46 inches 4K IPS Display, Android v7.0 Nougat, 19MP Rear | 13MP front camera, 64 GB Internal | 256 GB SD Card Support, 4 GB RAM and 3230 mAh battery.
Touching all Aspects of Premium Design
In this handset, the metallic frame is sandwiched between glass covering rear and front panel. It also has very compact design feels like a slab of metal. The phone is mirrored finished & glossy which also make it prone to fingerprint smudges. The curved glass & flattened tube design is very comfortable to hold which minimize the effort of operating smartphone with the single hand. Meanwhile, in the era of bezel-free/ infinite display, Sony kept a huge bezel area from the side, above and below display as well. that makes smartphone unnecessarily bigger. This phone is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance so you can use your gadget in rain or pool parties. The Volume rockers, power button, and snap button are located on the right edge of the phone. Left edge houses card slots. There is 3.5mm hole on the top for headphone and bottom has Type-C USB Host.
Amazing Advance 4K Display
One of the most attention seeker feature of this smartphone is its display. The screen is configured with 5.46" 4K HDR IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen having 807 ppi pixel density and 68.4% screen-to-body ratio with 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K) resolutions. To Offer a best possible quality from the display Sony went with TRILUMINOS display for mobile, The whole configuration is taking the visual experience to another level offers astonishing vivid color, clarity, and contrast. It's now impossible to detect the pixels from the naked eyes. There can be a good debate about the necessity of 4K display in smartphone Because Virtual Reality (VR) is the only reason someone can think of for 4K resolution on a phone, for this they need to go with daydream which is not included at least for now in this smartphone.

Gear up to Power performance
To perform powerful tasks a phone also need strong Chipset, In this handset sony fixed most advanced CPU of 2017, It has Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 Based on the 10 nm Process Technology. It is not only powerful but 35% smaller, uses 25% less power than the previous version. You can expect a smooth experience while playing games or multitasking. It is configured with X16 LTE modem delivers peak download speeds up to 1 Gigabit/second, Hexagon 682 DSP to improve performance and battery life and Adreno 540 GPU supports 25% faster graphics rendering with real-life-quality visuals. It has 64 GB Universal Flash Storage that can accesses data at 1.5GB/s (three times faster than regular memory). So this makes phone working without any hiccups even in graphic intensive games.
Introducing first time 960fps in phone Camera
The camera of this handset is one of the key attraction for all the smartphone enthusiastic people. The pixel sensor reduced to 19 MP from 23-megapixel (Regular XZ), but the pixels itself are now 19% bigger improving low-light shots. The features we saw first time in any mobile is Motion Eye camera to experience more than the human eye can see. It records 960 frames per second for Super slow motion playback that is 4 times slower than any available slow-mo smartphone in the market. Camera is also featuring Exmor RS for 5x faster image scanning, G Lens captures detail and texture accurately and BIONZ for more accurate motion detection. The Primary camera can shoot amazing daylight shots but still Even after including many components in Camera department it is not able to perform well like Samsung Galaxy S8 in insufficient lit conditions. The 13 megapixels secondary camera has renowned 1/3.06" low-light sensor, and a 22mm wide-angle lens for well formed & detailed Selfies that can cover more area in a single still.

Battery life need to be improved
Inside the phone company inserted 3230 mAh battery which is unfortunately smaller than last years Xperia XZ. But as Sony is claiming it is also packed with features like Advance "Stamina Mode" and Qnovo Adaptive Charging and Battery Care prevent the battery from overworking making its life cycle double as compared to counterpart devices. Quick Charger UCH12W offers multiple hours backup in just a few minutes charging. A person can easily get full day battery backup with moderate use.

Why to buy and Final words about Sony Xperia XZ Premium

Sony tried to make this device stand different from other competitors but certainly, there are multiple things they are compromising for a typical customer like me. In the era of bezel-free display why this handset comes up with really huge bezel area? why they reduced its battery capacity although we are well aware of the fact that Snapdragon 835 is more power efficient but who don't love a phone with much better battery. The design is a factor to which we can also praise but it is fingerprint magnet too. the camera can do some magic when someone wants to experiment with 960fps video recording. They made a 4K display and which is not compatible to daydream VR experience so what's the practical use of such a display. This phone looks like made for a very specific niche customer. Definitely, there are many features that are really worth to use but we have to mind that there are already legends in the market like Galaxy S8, LG G6, and Huawei P10
